Abstract
This invention provides methods for the treatment or amelioration of the symptoms of the common cold or allergic rhinitis which comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof a serotonin 5-HT.sub.1F agonist.

A method for the treatment or amelioration of the symptoms of the common cold or allergic rhinitis in a mammal which comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of Formula IV.
