Abstract
A toner composition comprised of a pigment, and a linear polyester resin of the formula ##STR1## where R' is independently selected from the group consisting of phenylene, cyclohexylene, and alkylene with from 4 to about 24 carbon atoms, where R is an oxyalkylene group of the formula ##STR2## where R" is independently selected from the group hydrogen and hydrocarbon substituents with from 1 to about 24 carbon atoms, n is an integer from about 2 to about 10,000, and m is an integer from about 2 to about 10,000.
Claims29
A toner comprised of a pigment, and a linear saturated polyester resin of the formula ##STR16## where R' is independently selected from the group consisting of phenylene, cyclohexylene, and alkylene with from 4 to about 24 carbon atoms, where R is comprised of a mixture of oxyalkylene groups of the formula ##STR17## wherein R" is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and hydrocarbon substituents with from 1 to about 24 carbon atoms, n is an integer from about 2 to about 10,000, and m is an integer from about 2 to about 10,000.
A toner comprised of a pigment, and a linear saturated polyester resin of the formula ##STR18## wherein R' is independently selected from the group consisting of phenylene, cyclohexylene, and alkylene with from 4 to about 24 carbon atoms, wherein R is a substituted oxyalkylene group of the formula ##STR19## wherein R" is a hydrocarbon substituent with from 2 to about 24 carbon atoms, n is an integer from about 2 to about 10,000, and m is an integer from about 2 to about 10,000.
