Expandable microwave package for holding a grain for popping or puffing in a microwave oven comprising, in combination:

• a bag including a bottom wall and a top wall, with the bottom and top walls each formed of a sheet of non-extendable flexible material, with the bottom wall having an outer periphery of a substantially round shape, with the top wall having an outer periphery of a substantially round shape and size corresponding to the outer periphery of the bottom wall, with the bottom and top walls being interconnected together adjacent to the outer peripheries, with the top and bottom walls expanding into an opposing double domed shape when the grain is popped or puffed in the microwave oven, with the interconnected outer peripheries puckering as the top and bottom walls expand into the opposing double domed shape.
