Colored formulations for application to human skin

A sunscreen composition, comprising:

• one or more of a thickener, an emulsifier, an emollient, a surfactant, a preservative, a perfume, and a film former;
• a sunscreen agent;
• and
• a color indicator which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which changes color when distributed over the skin.

A sunscreen composition, comprising:

• one or more of a thickener, an emulsifier, an emollient, a surfactant, a preservative, a perfume, and a film former;
• a sunscreen agent;
• and
• a color indicator which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which becomes substantially colorless after prolonged contact with the skin.

A sunscreen composition, comprising:

• a sunscreen agent;
• water;
• and
• a water soluble color indicator which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which becomes substantially colorless in less than about five minutes after application on the skin.

A sunscreen composition, comprising:

• one or more of a thickener, an emulsifier, an emollient, a surfactant, a preservative, a perfume, and a film former;
• a sunscreen agent;
• and
• a color indicator which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which is capable of disappearing when distributed over the skin.

• one or more of a thickener, an emulsifier, an emollient, a surfactant, a preservative, a perfume, and a film former;
• a sunscreen agent;
• and
• a colorant which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which changes color when distributed over the skin.

• water;
• a sunscreen agent;
• and
• a water soluble dye which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which changes color when distributed over the skin.

A sunscreen composition, comprising:

• a sunscreen agent;
• water;
• and
• a water soluble dye which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which becomes substantially clear in less than five minutes after distribution over the skin.

A sunscreen composition, comprising:

• an emulsifier;
• a sunscreen agent;
• a pH adjuster;
• water;
• an emollient;
• and
• a water soluble dye which ensures that the composition has color, other than color of human skin, when applied to skin, and which becomes substantially clear in less than five minutes after even distribution over the skin.
