Abstract
A process of using microwave radiation to effect condensation polymerization of phosphorus oxyacids and their salts having at least two free hydroxyl groups attached to the same phosphorus atom.
Claims25
A process for producing condensation polymers of phosphorus containing compounds, in which a compound selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, monosodium phosphate, phosphorous acid, monoammonium phosphate, and monocalcium phosphate is subjected to microwave radiation until condensation polymerization occurs.
A continuous process for increasing the concentration of phosphoric acid by condensation polymerization in which the phosphoric acid is subjected to microwave radiation until a concentration of phosphoric acid of above 100% is obtained.
