Abstract
A spinning ring for winding a yarn fed from a raw yarn bobbin on a bobbin includes a stationary ring that is mounted on a ring rail. A rotary ring is disposed inside and concentrically with the stationary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof. The bobbin is disposed inside and concentrically with the rotary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof. A traveler is disposed on the rotary ring for revolution in the circumferential direction of the rotary ring to guide the yarn fed from the supply bobbin with respect to the bobbin. When the bobbin is rotated substantially at normal operating speed, the speed of the traveler and the rotary ring are rotated substantially in unison with each other relative to the stationary ring.
Claims8
A spinning ring for winding a yarn fed from a yarn feeder on a bobbin, comprising:
- a stationary ring mounted on a base member;
- a rotary ring disposed inside and concentrically with the stationary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof, the bobbin being disposed inside and concentrically with the rotary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof;
- a traveler disposed on the rotary ring for revolution in the circumferential direction of the rotary ring to guide the yarn fed from the yarn feeder with respect to the bobbin;
- and
- a slide ring disposed between the stationary ring and the rotary ring and slidably contacting both the stationary ring and the rotary ring;
- the slide ring having a single cut section.
A spinning ring for winding a yarn fed from a yarn feeder on a bobbin, comprising:
- a stationary ring mounted on a base member;
- a rotary ring disposed inside and concentrically with the stationary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof, the bobbin being disposed inside and concentrically with the rotary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof;
- a traveler disposed on the rotary ring for revolution in the circumferential direction of the rotary ring to guide the yarn fed from the yam feeder with respect to the bobbin;
- and
- a slide ring disposed between the stationary ring and the rotary ring and slidably contacting both the stationary ring and the rotary ring;
- the slide ring being divided into a plurality of ring portions.
A spinning ring for winding a yarn fed from a yarn feeder on a bobbin, comprising:
- a stationary ring mounted on a base member;
- a rotary ring disposed inside and concentrically with the stationary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof, the bobbin being disposed inside and concentrically with the rotary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof;
- a traveler disposed on the rotary ring for revolution in the circumferential direction of the rotary ring to guide the yarn fed from the yarn feeder with respect to the bobbin;
- and
- a slide ring disposed between the stationary ring and the rotary ring and a slidably contacting both the stationary ring and the rotary ring;
- the slide ring having a portion thinner than other remaining portions in its circumferential direction.
A spinning ring for winding a yarn fed from a yarn feeder on a bobbin, comprising:
- a stationary ring mounted on a base member;
- a rotary ring disposed inside and concentrically with the stationary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof, the bobbin being disposed inside and concentrically with the rotary ring for rotation about the central axis thereof;
- a traveler disposed on the rotary ring for revolution in the circumferential direction of the rotary ring to guide the yarn fed from the yarn feeder with respect to the bobbin;
- and
- a slide ring disposed between the stationary ring and the rotary ring and slidably contacting both the stationary ring and the rotary ring;
- the slide ring comprising a main ring made of an elastic material and having a cut section and reinforcement ring without any cut sections and fitted on the main ring;
- the main ring being rotatable only about the central axis of the stationary ring or the rotary ring.
