Abstract
A method for conducting a chemical reaction with a catalyst composed of metal oxide particles among which are uniformly incorporated, in order to reduce the operating temperature of the catalyst, palladium particles.
Claims17
A method of conducting a chemical reaction, which method comprises contacting a reactant with a catalyst composed of metal oxide particles among which are uniformly incorporated, in order to reduce the operating temperature of the catalyst, palladium particles, wherein the reaction is the oxidative dehydrogenation of but- 1-ene to butadiene, and wherein the reaction is conducted at a temperature below 200.degree. C. and the metal oxide comprises iron (III) oxide.
A method of conducting a chemical reaction, which method comprises contacting a reactant with a catalyst composed of metal oxide particles among which are uniformly incorporated, in order to reduce the operating temperature of the catalyst, palladium particles, wherein the reaction is the water-gas shift reaction and the metal oxide comprises iron(III) oxide, and wherein the reaction is conducted at a temperature of 100.degree.-200.degree. C.
