Abstract
There is disclosed a composition which is particularly suited for lubricating the contact area between the guide pin and elastomeric bushing of a disc brake caliper assembly, said composition consisting essentially of: (A) 55 to 90 weight percent of a polydimethylsiloxane having a viscosity of at least 1,000 cS at 25.degree. C.; (B) 5 to 45 weight percent of a polytetrafluoroethylene powder; (C) 5 to 45 weight percent of melamine cyanurate; (D) 0.1 to 5 weight percent of an antioxidant; and (E) 0.1 to 5 weight percent of magnesium oxide.
