Abstract
Liquid detergent compositions containing a branched anionic surfactant. These compositions are low sudsing and have improved hydrophobic greasy soil removal performance.
Claims8
A liquid detergent composition comprising one or more of an anionic surfactant having the formula:
- ##STR4## wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.22 alkyl group, R.sub.2 is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.22 alkyl group, m is 2, 3 or 4, n is between about 3 and 14 and R.sub.3 is a sulphate or a sulphonate.
A liquid detergent composition comprising one or more of an anionic surfactant having the formula:
- ##STR5## wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.22 alkyl group, R.sub.2 is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.22 alkyl group, m is 2, 3 or 4, n is 0 and R.sub.3 is a sulphate.
