Cosmetic eye makeup composition comprising a wax microdispersion

A process for making up eyelashes while thickening said eyelashes and imparting thereto a smooth surface comprising applying to the eyelashes a composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of wax particles, at least one water-soluble film-forming polymer and a pigment, said wax particles (1) being present in an amount ranging from 0.1 to 40 weight percent, (2) having a melting point ranging from 50.degree. to 100.degree. C. and (3) having a size less than 1,000 mm, said film-forming polymer being present in an amount ranging from 0.1 to 25 percent by weight, said pigment being present in an amount ranging from 0.1 to 20 weight percent, and said composition having a viscosity ranging from 3.5 Pa.s to 35 Pa.s at 25.degree. C.

A process for making up eyelashes while thickening said eyelashes and imparting thereto a smooth surface comprising applying to the eyelashes a composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of wax particles, at least one water-soluble film-forming polymer and a pigments said dispersion being an aqueous microdispersion of at least one wax and the particles of said aqueous microdispersion having a size less than 1 .mu.m, said composition having a viscosity ranging from 3.5 Pa.s to 35 Pa.s at 25.degree. C., said wax microdispersion containing at least one liposoluble active ingredient present in an amount at the maximum of 30 percent by weight based on the weight of said wax.

A process for making up the eyes comprising applying to the eyelashes or to the border of the eyelids or both, an eye makeup composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of wax particles, at least one water-soluble film-forming polymer and a pigment, said dispersion being an aqueous microdispersion of at least one wax and the particles of said aqueous microdispersion having a size less than 1 .mu.m, said composition having a viscosity ranging from more than 2.5 Pa.s to 35 Pa.s at 25.degree. C.

A process for making up the eyes comprising applying to the eyelashes or to the border of the eyelids or both, an eye makeup composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of wax particles, at least one water-soluble film-forming polymer and a pigment, said dispersion being an aqueous microdispersion of at least one wax and the particles of said aqueous microdispersion having a size less than 1 .mu.m, said composition having a viscosity ranging from 4 Pa.s to 35 Pa.s at 25.degree. C.

A process for making up the eyes comprising applying to eyelashes an aqueous dispersion of wax particles, at least one water-soluble film-forming polymer and a pigment, said dispersion being a microdispersion of at least one wax, said wax particles have a size of less than 1 .mu.m and said composition having a viscosity ranging from more than 2.5 Pa.s to 35 Pa.s at 25.degree. C., such that said eyelashes are thickened and contain an even coating of said composition.
