Claims10
A compound represented by formula (I):
- ##STR48## wherein n is an integer of 2 to 5;
- R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent group represented by formula:
- ##STR49## wherein R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c each represents a phenyl, phenylmethyl or naphthyl group which group may be substituted with at least one substituent group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a halogen atom and a nitro group, a hydrogen atom;
- or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- and
- R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, with the proviso that a compound, in which n is 2, R.sup.1 is hydrogen atom and R.sup.2 is an ethyl group is excluded, or a salt thereof.
A process for producing a compound represented by formula (I):
- ##STR51## wherein n is an integer of 2 to 5;
- R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent group represented by formula:
- ##STR52## wherein R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c each represents a phenyl, phenylmethyl or naphthyl group which group may be substituted with at least one substituent group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a halogen atom and a nitro group, a hydrogen atom;
- or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- with the proviso that R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c are not hydrogen atoms at the same time;
- and
- R.sup.2 represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms,
- which comprises allowing a compound represented by formula (IV):
- ##STR53## wherein n is an integer of 2 to 5 and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, to react with hydrogen cyanide in the presence of a compound represented by the following formula (V) or a salt thereof:
- NH.sub.2 R.sup.1 (V)
