Abstract
The invention relates to fungicidal compositions which comprise a carrier and, as active ingredient, a dihalotriazolopyrimidine derivative of general formula (I) in which R represents an optionally substituted branched or straight-chain alkyl or alkoxy group or an optionally substituted cycloalkyl, aryl, aryloxy, or heterocyclyl group, and Hal represents a fluroine, chlorine, bromine or iodine atom; and their use as fungicides. Certain of these dihalotriazolopyrimidine derivatives are novel and a process for the preparation of these compounds is also provided. ##STR1##

A fungicidal composition which comprises a carrier and, as active ingredient, a compound of the formula ##STR6## in which R represents an optionally substituted branched or straight-chain alkyl, or alkoxy group, or an optionally substituted cycloalkyl, aryl, aryloxy or heterocyclic group, and Hal represents a fluorine, chlorine, bromine or iodine atom.
A compound according to claim wherein 4, wherein R is thien-3-yl.
A compound according to claim herein 9, wherein R is cyclopentyl.
