Abstract
The invention provides a human protein phosphatase (PROPHO) and polynucleotides which identify and encode PROPHO. The invention also provides expression vectors, host cells, agonists, antibodies and antagonists. The invention also provides methods for treating disorders associated with expression of PROPHO.
Claims11
An isolated and purified polynucleotide sequence encoding a humane protien phosphatase comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 or enzymatically active fragments thereof.
An isolated and purified polynucleotide sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:2.
A method for producing a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1, or enzymatically active fragments thereof, the method comprising the steps of:
- a) culturing the host cell of claim 10 under conditions suitable for the expression of the polypeptide;
- and
- b) recovering the polypeptide from the host cell culture.
