Abstract

A fabric made using a para-aramid yarn is disclosed having increased cut resistance and maintained comfort wherein the yarn has low twist and the staple fibers in the yarn have high linear density.

A yarn having a linear density of 150 to 5900 dtex and a twist factor of less than 26 wherein the yarn includes para-aramid staple fibers having a linear density of 3 to 6 dtex and a length of 2.5 to 15.2 centimeters.
