Abstract
A solid processing composition and method for processing a silver halide photographic light sensitive material is disclosed in which the solid processing composition has a sodium cation content of 60 mol % or more based on the total metal cation content, and contains a developing agent represented by the following formula (1): ##STR1##
Claims7
A solid processing composition for processing a silver halide photographic light sensitive material, the sodium cation content of said solid composition being 80 to 95 mol % based on the total metal cation content, wherein the solid processing composition contains said developing agent represented by the following formula (1-a) in an amount of 30 to 70 weight %:
- ##STR48## wherein R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a sulfo group, a carboxy group, an amido group or a sufonamido group;
- Y.sub.1 represents O or S;
- Y.sub.2 represents O, S or NR.sub.4, in which R.sub.4 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group;
- and M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom.
