Abstract
The invention relates to cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparations comprising pigments whose coloring depends on the viewing angle and comprising additives which are customary for cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparations, wherein the pigments comprise at least one oriented crosslinked substance having a liquid-crystalline structure with a chiral phase, are plateletlike in form and have a thickness of 1-20 .mu.m.

A cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparation comprising pigments whose coloring depends on the viewing angle and additives selected from the group consisting of additives acceptable for use in cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations, wherein the pigments comprise at least one oriented crosslinked substance having a liquid-crystalline structure with a chiral phase, are plateletlike in form, have a thickness of 1-20 .mu.m, and a particle diameter of 5-500 .mu.m.
