Abstract
Recording paper, at least one of opposite surface portions contains a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fiber as main raw material. In addition, recording paper having a double-layer structure, in which a first layer 31 contains a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material, and a second layer 32 is a layer different from the first layer. The recording paper may have three or more layers including the first layer. Recording is performed by using such recording paper.
Claims30
Recording paper in which at least one of opposite surfaces of said recording paper consists essentially of a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers, and
- said hydrophilic fibers and said hydrophobic fibers slide on each other to give said recording paper a cushioning property.
Recording paper including at least first and second layers, wherein
- said first layer consists essentially of a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers,
- said hydrophilic fibers and said hydrophobic fibers slide on each other to give said recording paper a cushioning property, and
- said second layer contains cellulose fibers.
Recording paper including a first surface layer and a second surface layer provided on the opposite side to said first layer, and at least one third layer provided between said first and second surface layers, wherein
- at least one of said first and second surface layers of said recording paper consists essentially of a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers,
- said hydrophilic fibers and said hydrophobic fibers slide on each other to give said recording paper a cushioning property, and
- said at least one third layer contains cellulose fibers.
A recording method for recording on recording paper, wherein
- at least one of opposite surface portions of said recording paper contains a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material,
- said hydrophilic fibers and said hydrophobic fibers slide on each other to provide said recording paper with a cushioning property, and
- recording is performed, with water-based ink containing color material such as dye, pigment, or coloring fine particles, on said surface portion containing the mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material.
A recording method for recording on recording paper, wherein
- at least one of opposite surface portions of said recording paper contains a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material,
- said hydrophilic fibers and said hydrophobic fibers slide on each other to provide said recording paper with a cushioning property, and
- recording is performed with powder toner on said surface portion containing the mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material.
Recording method for recording on recording paper, wherein
- at least one of opposite surface portions of said recording paper contains a mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material,
- said hydrophilic fibers and said hydrophobic fibers slide on each other to provide said recording paper with a cushioning property, and
- recording is performed, with hot-melt ink containing coloring fine particles, on said surface portion containing the mixture of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers as main raw material.
