Abstract
The invention is directed to a method of treating multiple sclerosis in animals, including humans, by the oral administration of bovine myelin.

A method for the treatment of the disease multiple sclerosis in a human comprising orally or enterally administering bovine myelin to said human in an amount effective to treat said disease.
