Silver halide color photographic material and processing method thereof

Abstract

A silver halide color photographic material having on a support at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the color photographic material contains a nondiffusing coupler represented by formula (I): Cp-O--C(.dbd.O)--N(R.sub.1)--Ar--X (I) wherein Cp represents a coupler residue capable of releasing --O--C(.dbd.O)--N(R.sub.1)--Ar--X by causing a coupling reaction with an oxidized color developing agent; Ar represents an arylene group; X represents an amino group, an alkoxy group, or a hydroxy group; and R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and a method for processing the photographic material which comprises exposing, developing and bleaching the photographic material, wherein the replenishing amount for the developer is not more than 600 ml per square meter of the photographic material.
