The Use of 2,4-diamino pyrimidine 3-oxide or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof as the active substance for the preparation of a therapeutical composition is disclosed. Said therapeutical composition is useful for treating collagen maturation and structuring disorders.

Process for the treatment of collagen maturation and structuring disorders comprising administering to a subject a therapeutic composition which is in a form which can be administered topically, transdermally or intradermally, said composition containing an effective amount of 2,4-diamino-pyrimidine 3-oxide (2,4-DPO) or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof to treat said disorders.
