Abstract
A chimeric nucleic acid molecule encoding an NS1-Rev fusion protein having Rev function inhibitory activity.
Claims36
A chimeric nucleic acid molecule comprising a coding sequence that encodes a fusion protein comprising an influenza A virus-NS1 protein linked to an HIV-1 Rev protein, wherein said fusion protein inhibits Rev function.
An HIV-Rev influenza A virus-NS1 fusion protein, comprising an influenza A virus-NS1 protein linked to an HIV-1 -Rev protein, wherein said fusion protein inhibits Rev function.
A composition comprising a nucleic acid vector encoding an HIV-1-Rev, influenza A virus-NS1 fusion protein, said protein having Rev function inhibitory activity and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A composition comprising an HIV-Rev NS1 fusion protein, said protein having Rev function inhibitory activity and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A method of producing an HIV-1 Rev, influenza A virus-NS1 fusion protein comprising the steps of:
- a. inserting an expression vector comprising a nucleic acid moleule encoding an HIV-1-Rev, influenza A virus-NS1 fusion protein into an isolated host cell;
- and
- b. causing siad host cell to express said fusion protein.
A host cell comprising a chimeric nucleic acid molecule encoding an HIV-1-Rev, influenza A virus-NS1 fusion protein, said protein having Rev function inhibitory activity.
The host cell according to claim, 29 wherein said chimeric nucleic acid molecule is operably linked to an expression vector.
