Abstract
The multi-layer mattress provides a separation sheet, for example, made of plastic or cloth, between foam layers to allow them to better flex and compress separately.
Claims19
A multi-layer mattress comprising:
- at least two foam mattress elements each having a horizontal contact surface including exposed foam;
- and
- separation means for reducing friction between said exposed foam of said foam mattress elements during relative horizontal movement of said contact surfaces when said foam mattress elements are subjected to compression and for permitting each of said mattress elements to compress and flex separately when stacked one above the other and subjected to use.
