Abstract
A process for forming a flexible, electrically conductive fabric by applying to a nonconductive flexible fibrous web substrate an aqueous solution comprising a conductive material and a binder, saturating the web with the aqueous solution, and drying and curing the web.
Claims7
A flexible, electrically conductive fabric, comprising:
- a nonconductive flexible fibrous web substrate, and
- an electrically conductive coating disposed on said substrate, wherein
- said coating is comprised of a dispersion of carbon black and a binder, and wherein
- said fabric has an ASTM D-257-93 surface resistivity of 1.0 to 3.5.times.10.sup.3 ohms/sq.

A flexible, electrically conductive fabric, comprising:
- a nonconductive flexible fibrous web substrate, and
- an electrically conductive coating disposed on said substrate, wherein
- said coating is comprised of a dispersion of carbon black and a butadiene acrylonitrile latex emulsion, and wherein
- said conductive coating completely penetrates said fibrous web substrate, and said fabric has an ASTM D-257-93 surface resistivity of 1.0 to 3.5.times.10.sup.3 ohms/sq.
