Abstract
The present invention is an imaging element which includes a support, an image forming layer and a backing layer. The backing layer includes a film forming polymeric binder, hard filler particles in an amount of from 10 to 80 volume percent of the backing layer, and crosslinked elastomeric matte beads having a glass transition temperature of 10.degree. C. or less.
Claims11
An imaging element comprising a support, an image forming layer superposed on a front side of the support and a backing layer superposed on a backside of the support comprising a film forming polymeric binder, hard filler particles in an amount of from 10 to 80 volume percent of said backing layer wherein the hard filler particles are selected from the group consisting of inorganic conductive fine particles, ionically-conductive sols silicas, clays, mica, and non-film-forming polymer particles, and crosslinked elastomeric matte beads having a glass transition temperature of 10.degree. C. or less.
