Abstract
The present invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding CRF.sub.2 receptors, recombinant expression vectors and host cells suitable for expressing such receptors, as well as compositions and methods which utilize such receptors.
Claims13
An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a mammalian CRF.sub.2 receptor, wherein said nucleic acid molecule comprises:
- (a) a nucleic acid molecule which encodes an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of Sequence I.D. Nos. 2, 4, and 8;
- or
- (b) a nucleic acid molecule which hybridizes under conditions of moderate stringency to the complement of a nucleic acid molecule which encodes Sequence I.D. Nos. 2, 4 or 8.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a mammalian CRF.sub.2 receptor N-terminal extracellular domain, wherein said CRF.sub.2 receptor N-terminal extracellular domain comprises:
- (a) a nucleic acid molecule which encodes the N-terminal extracellular domain of any one of Sequence I.D. Nos. 2, 4, and 8;
- or
- (b) a nucleic acid molecule which hybridizes under conditions of moderate stringency to the complement of a nucleic acid molecule which encodes the N-terminal extracellular domain of any one of Sequence I.D. Nos. 2, 4 or 8.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule having greater than 85% sequence identity to a nucleic acid molecule encoding an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of Sequence ID Nos. 2, 4, or 8.
