Abstract
A rotary printing press comprising a plurality of folder units including a cutting cylinder and a folding jaw cylinder with each of the folder units having a separate drive motor mechanially driving each folder unit separately from the plurality of printing units with each folder unit registerable independently from the plurality of printing units.
Claims18
A rotary printing press comprising:
- a plurality of printing units;
- a plurality of folder units associated with said plurality of printing units, each of said plurality of folder units including a cutting cylinder and a folding jaw cylinder;
- a separate drive motor for each of said folder units said separate drive motor independently mechanically driving a respective said folder unit separately from said plurality of printing units, said each folder unit being registerable independently from said plurality of printing units.
