Abstract
A light-emitting material of the following general formula 1! for an organic electroluminescence device, ##STR1## wherein each of A.sup.1 to A.sup.4 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 16 carbon atoms, and each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, provided that adjacent substituents may form an aryl ring.
Claims3
A light-emitting material of the following general formula 3! for an organic electroluminescence device, ##STR103## wherein each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 and R.sup.29 to R.sup.48 is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, and each of X.sup.1 to X.sup.4 is independently O, S, C.dbd.O, SO.sub.2, (CH.sub.2).sub.x --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.y, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group or a substituted or unsubstituted alicyclic residue, provided that each of x and y is independently an integer of 0 to 20 and that in no case x+y=0, provided that adjacent substituents of R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 or R.sup.5 to R.sup.8 may form an aryl ring.
A light-emitting material of the following general formula 4! for an organic electroluminescence device, ##STR104## wherein each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 and R.sup.29 to R.sup.48 is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, and each of X.sup.1 to X.sup.4 is independently O, S, C.dbd.O, SO.sub.2, (CH.sub.2).sub.x --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.y, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group or a substituted or unsubstituted alicyclic residue, provided that each of x and y is independently an integer of 0 to 20 and that in no case x+y=0, provided that adjacent substituents of R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 or R.sup.5 to R.sup.8 may form an aryl ring.
A light-emitting material of the following general formula 5! for an organic electroluminescence device, ##STR105## wherein each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 and R.sup.29 to R.sup.48 is independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, and each of Y.sup.1 to Y.sup.8 is independently a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 16 carbon atoms, provided that adjacent substituents of R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 or R.sup.5 to R.sup.8 may form an aryl ring.
