Abstract
A tube, particularly suitable for use as a part of the intake manifold of an internal-combustion engine, having an inside diameter which can be changed as a function of the operating condition of the internal-combustion engine.

An air intake tube for an intake manifold of an internal-combustion engine, said tube having an inner surface provided with at least one adjusting element for controllably changing the inside diameter of the tube, said adjusting element being located upstream of an air filter arranged in said intake manifold.
