## Abstract

An improved medium for use in preparing ceramic coating compositions. The improvement resides in the employment of pantothenol as a rheology modifier in the medium.

## Claims

### Claim 1

In a ceramic coating composition comprising a glass frit and an organic medium, the improvement wherein the organic medium is a medium comprising a solvent base of tripropylene glycol methyl ether in an amount of about 50% to 99% by weight and about 0.1 to 50% by weight pantothenol.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A composition according to claim 1 further containing a pigment.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

A composition according to claim 1 further containing a finely divided electrically conductive metal.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A method for the preparation of a glass substrate coated with a ceramic coating composition which comprises applying to at least a portion of a glass substrate a ceramic coating composition as defined in claim 1 and subsequently firing said coated substrate to fuse said coating to said substrate.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

A coated glass substrate produced in accordance with the process of claim 4.
