## Abstract

The invention relates to a recombinant DNA molecule which encodes a HT.sub.m4 protein, a transformed host cell which has been stably transfected with a DNA molecule which encodes a HT.sub.m4 protein and a recombinant HT.sub.m4 protein. The invention also relates to a method for detecting the presence of a hereditary atopy.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An antibody which binds to a HT.sub.m4 protein.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The antibody of claim 1 which binds to a cytoplasmic carboxyl terminal domain of HT.sub.m4.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The antibody of claim 1 which binds a phosphorylation site in a cytoplasmic carboxyl terminal domain of HT.sub.m4 at an epitope specific for KAP.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The antibody of claim 1 which binds an epitope of HT.sub.m4 specific for a TNF receptor associated factor selected from the group consisting of TRAF-1, TRAF-2, and TRAF-3.
