## Abstract

A combined installation configured as a single-shaft installation with common shafting (1) consists essentially of a gas turbine, a steam turbine, the generator (10), which is located between them, and the associated auxiliary systems (12). The generator (10) and the associated auxiliary systems (12) are arranged on a slab (8) which can be displaced transverse to the common shafting (1).

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for displacing the generator of an installation with common shafting having a gas turbine, a steam turbine and a generator between the gas turbine and the steam turbine, the installation having a slab supporting the generator, including the steps of:
(a) decoupling the generator from the common shafting; and
(b) sliding the slab laterally to allow the rotor of the generator to be removed from the generator.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1 including removing the rotor from the generator.
