Abstract
Method of using specific acyl urea compounds as termiticides. The compounds are unusually non-repellant to termites and active at low dosages.
Claims10
A method for treating timber for termites which comprises applying to timber an effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkoxy, chloro, bromo or fluoro;
- X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 are each independently chloro, fluoro, bromo, hydrogen, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl;
- and R is a fluorine containing C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 haloalkoxy group.
