Abstract
A filler combined with a quick-setting adhesive such as a cyanoacrylate asive, or an anaerobic adhesive forms an adhesive composite having high compressive strength suitable for immobilizing a mechanical fuze.
Claims4
A method of inactivating a fuze comprising:
- (a) allowing a filler material to flow around fuze components;
- (b) applying quick setting adhesive to said filler material;
- (c) said adhesive being at least one adhesive selected from the group consisting of a cyanoacrylate adhesive and an anaerobic adhesive;
- and
- (d) allowing said adhesive to cure.
