Abstract
Novel Quinoa saponin pharmaceutical compositions are disclosed. The compositions are useful for enhancing mucosal absorption of a drug administered therewith.

A pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one Quinoa saponin;
- a selected drug;
- and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- (a) an aqueous Quinoa saponin extract;
- and
- (b) a selected drug;
- and
- (c) a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
