Abstract
Reactive dyestuffs which, in the form of the free acid, correspond to the following formula ##STR1## wherein D is the radical of an organic dyestuff of the mono-azo, polyazo or metal complex azo series and the other substituents have the meaning given in the description, show improved application properties.
Claims2
A compound of the general formula ##STR510## or a salt or its reaction products with protective groups, wherein
- R.sup.2 denotes H, Cl, Br, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or COOH,
- Z denotes --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OSO.sub.3 H, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --S.sub.2 O.sub.3 H, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--CO--CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OPO.sub.3 H.sub.2 or --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OH,
- j denotes 0 or 1,
- i denotes 0 or 1, and
- r denotes 2 or 3.
A method for the preparation of a compound of the general formula ##STR511## its salts and its reaction products with protective groups, wherein
- R.sup.2 denotes H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, Cl, Br, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or COOH,
- Z denotes --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OSO.sub.3 H, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --Cl, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --Br, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --S.sub.2 O.sub.3 H, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--CO--CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OPO.sub.3 H.sub.2 or --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OH,
- j denotes 0 or 1,
- i denotes 0 or 1, and
- r denotes 2 or 3,
- which comprises sulphation of a compound of the formula ##STR512## subsequent reaction with mercaptoethanol to give ##STR513## optionally blocking of the NH group with a protective group and oxidation to give ##STR514## optionally splitting off of the protective group to give ##STR515## and optionally conversion of the radical SO.sub.2 C.sub.2 H.sub.4 --OH into the vinylsulphonyl group or conversion of the --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OH group into the other detachable groups listed under Z.
