Abstract
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which the variables are as defined in the claims, and which are suitable as fibre-reactive dyes for dyeing and printing widely varying fibre materials, are described.
Claims11
A compound of the formula ##STR36## in which one of the radicals B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 is hydrogen and the other is sulfo,
- K is the radical of a coupling component of the naphthalene, phenylazonaphthalene, 4-alkyl-6-hydroxypyrid-2-one, 2,5-diamino-4-alkylpyridine, 1-arylpyrazol-5-one or 1-aryl-5-aminopyrazole series and
- Z is the radical of a diazo component which is free from hydroxyl groups, of the benzene or naphthalene series,
- and in which at least one of the radicals K or Z contains a fibre-reactive group selected from the group consisting of
- --SO.sub.2 --Y (2a),
- --CONR.sub.1 --(CH.sub.2).sub.n --SO.sub.2 --Y (2b)and ##STR37## in which X is halogen, 3-carboxypyridin-1-yl or 3-carbamoylpyridin-1-yl,
- T independently is as defined for X or is hydroxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, phenoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkylthio, morpholino, amino which is unsubstituted or substituted by non-reactive radicals, or a reactive radical of the formula ##STR38## R.sub.2 is hydrogen, C.sub. 1-C.sub. 4alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxyl, sulfo, sulfato, carboxyl or cyano, or a radical ##STR39## which is unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxyl, sulfo, sulfato, carboxyl or cyano, or a radical --alk--SO.sub.2 --Y'
- R.sub.3 is hydrogen, hydroxyl, sulfo, sulfato, carboxyl, cyano, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxycarbonyl,
- C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkanoyloxy, carbamoyl or the group --SO.sub.2 --Y,
- alk and alk' independently of one another are C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylene,
- arylene is a phenylene or naphthylene radical which is unsubstituted or substituted by sulfo, carboxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or halogen,
- Y.sub.1 is a group --CHX.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 X.sub.2 or --CX.sub.2 .dbd.CH.sub.2 and
- X.sub.2 is chlorine or bromine,
- Q is the radical --O-- or --NR.sub.1 --,
- W is a group --SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.2 --, --CONR.sub.2 -- or --NR.sub.2 CO--,
- m is the number 0 or 1,
- R.sub.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl,
- Y is vinyl or a radical --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --U and
- U is a leaving group which can be split off under alkaline conditions, and n is an integer from 1 to 6.
