Abstract
This invention relates to composite somatotropin peptides and fusion protein thereof useful in the potentiating of growth hormone activity. Also disclosed are vector and host cells useful in the recombinant production of such molecules. Vaccines containing composite somatotropin and fusion proteins thereof and methods of using same as disclosed.
Claims13
An isolated DNA molecule encoding a composite peptide comprising at least two non-contiguous somatotropin epitopic amino acid sequences, wherein said composite peptide is substantially free of receptor binding domain sequences.
An isolated DNA molecule encoding a fusion protein comprising the composite peptide linked to a heterologous protein, wherein said composite peptide is substantially free of receptor binding domain sequences.
