Low viscosity organofunctionalized siloxysilicates and cosmetic formulations therewith

A resin of the formula:

• ##STR5## where both R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are either a phenyl group or an alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and both M.sup.1 and M.sup.2 are independently selected from the group consisting of phenyl, phenethyl, and polyether subject to the limitation that the ratio of the subscripts x, y, and z satisfies (x+y)/z equal to about 2 where z ranges from 1 to about 30 and x and y may be zero or a positive number subject to the limitation that when M.sup.1 is a polyether M.sup.2 is also a polyether.
