Abstract
A color photographic silver halide material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer, which is stabilized with a compound of formula (I) or (II) ##STR1## where X represents O or NR.sub.2 Y represents halogen, Z.sup..crclbar. represents an anion, R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or a substituent, or jointly with X represents the remaining members of a condensed ring R.sub.2 represents hydrogen or a substituent, and Q represents the atoms required for the completion of a 5- or 6-membered ring, is characterized by enhanced stability.
Claims13
A photographic silver halide material comprising at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the at least one silver halide emulsion layer is stabilized with a compound of formulae (I) or (II) ##STR11## where X represents O or NR.sub.2
- Y represents halogen,
- Z.sup..crclbar. represents an anion
- R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, akyl, aryl, acyl or a heterocyclic group, or R.sub.1 jointly with NR.sub.2, represents remaining members of a condensed ring,
- R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, acyl, or a heterocyclic group and
- Q represents atoms required for completing a 5- or 6-membered ring.
