Abstract
A method for both wrapping a floral arrangement and removing the wrapping material from the floral arrangement, comprising a sheet of material having a pull tab and pull indicia thereon, the pull tab sized to be easily graspable, a bonding material disposed on the sheet of material near the pull tab. A floral arrangement is utilized, the floral arrangement being wrapped in the sheet of material, the sheet of material being crimped about a portion of the floral arrangement.
Claims43
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material having
- an upper surface, a lower surface and an outer periphery, the sheet of material having
- a connecting means disposed on at least a portion of the sheet of material for connecting portions of the sheet of material to itself;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement causing a portion of the sheet of material to overlap another portion of the sheet of material resulting in overlapping portions;
- bonding the overlapping portions of the sheet of material by contacting and connecting the connecting means to adjacent overlapping portions of the sheet of material whereby the overlapping portions of the sheet of material are bonded together, the sheet of material encompassing and surrounding a portion of the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement;
- and
- binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement by crimping portions of the wrapper together about the floral arrangement and causing the connecting means to engage portions of the wrapper for holding the portions of the wrapper crimped about the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material having
- an upper surface, a lower surface and an outer periphery, the sheet of material comprising
- a connecting means for connecting portions of the sheet of material to itself;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement causing a portion of the sheet of material to overlap another portion of the sheet of material resulting in overlapping portions;
- bonding the overlapping portions of the sheet of material by contacting and connecting the connecting means to adjacent overlapping portions of the sheet of material whereby the overlapping portions of the sheet of material are bonded together, the sheet of material encompassing and surrounding a portion of the stem portion of the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement;
- and
- binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement by crimping portions of the wrapper together about the floral arrangement and causing the connecting means to engage portions of the wrapper for holding the portions of the wrapper crimped about the stem portion of the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material having
- an upper surface, a lower surface and an outer periphery, the sheet having both
- a first connecting means for connecting portions of the sheet of material to itself, and
- a second connecting means attached to the sheet of material for both crimpingly connecting portions of the sheet of material to itself and retaining the sheet of material in a crimped condition;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement causing a portion of the sheet of material to overlap another portion of the sheet of material resulting in overlapping portions;
- bonding the overlapping portions of the sheet of material by contacting and connecting the first connecting means to adjacent overlapping portions of the sheet of material whereby the overlapping portions of the sheet of material are bonded together, the sheet of material encompassing and surrounding a portion of the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement;
- and
- binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement by at least crimping a portion of the wrapper together causing the first connecting means to engage adjacent portions of the wrapper, said first connecting means crimpingly connecting said portions of the wrapper about the portion of the floral arrangement, and wrapping the second connecting means about the wrapper thereby both crimpingly connecting said portions of the wrapper about the portion of the floral arrangement and retaining the wrapper in a crimped condition, both first connecting means and second connecting means thereby firmly binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an outer periphery, the sheet of material further having a connecting means comprising a pull tab for crimpingly connecting portions of the sheet of material to itself;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement causing a portion of the sheet of material to overlap another portion of the sheet of material resulting in overlapping portions;
- bonding the overlapping portions of the sheet of material by contacting and connecting at least a portion of the connecting means to adjacent overlapping portions of the sheet of material such that the overlapping portions of the sheet of material are bonded together, the sheet of material encompassing and surrounding a portion of the stem portion of the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement;
- and
- binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement by crimping portions of the wrapper together by wrapping the connecting means comprising the pull tab about the wrapper and connecting at least a portion of the pull tab to the wrapper, the pull tab both crimpingly connecting the portions of the wrapper about at least the portion of the stem portion of the floral arrangement and retaining the wrapper in a crimped condition, the connecting means thereby firmly binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material having
- an upper surface, a lower surface, and an outer periphery, the sheet of material having
- a connecting means disposed on a portion of the sheet of material for connecting portions of the sheet of material to itself;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement, the wrapper extending about at least a portion of the stem portion of the floral arrangement;
- and
- binding the wrapper to the floral arrangement by crimping portions of the wrapper together about the floral arrangement by causing the connecting means to engage portions of the wrapper adjacent at least a portion of the stem portion of the floral arrangement and crimpingly connecting said portions of the wrapper about at least a portion of the stem portion of the floral arrangement for holding the portion of the wrapper crimped about the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising the steps of:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material having a connecting means disposed on at least a portion of the sheet of material;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement, the wrapper extending about the floral arrangement;
- and
- crimping portions of the wrapper together about the floral arrangement and causing the connecting means to engage portions of the wrapper for holding the wrapper in a crimped condition about the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising the steps of:
- providing a floral arrangement having a flower portion and a stem portion;
- providing a sheet of material;
- providing at least one connecting means;
- disposing the connecting means on at least a portion of the sheet of material;
- placing the floral arrangement on the sheet of material;
- wrapping the sheet of material about the floral arrangement thereby forming a wrapper about the floral arrangement, the wrapper extending about the floral arrangement;
- and
- crimping portions of the wrapper together about the floral arrangement and causing the connecting means to engage portions of the wrapper for holding the wrapper in a crimped condition about the floral arrangement.
A method for wrapping a floral arrangement, comprising the steps of:
