Abstract
A subject of the invention is the use of prodelphinidins for obtaining medicaments intended for the treatment of articular pathologies associated with the destruction of the cartilage, and more particularly of arthrosis.
Claims7
Method for treating articular pathologies assosciated with destruction of the cartilige, comprising administering to a patient in need of such treatment a medicament containing an effective amount of at least one prodelphinidin of the formula ##STR5## in which:
- R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently repesent H or OH,
- R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are defferent and represent H or OH, p1 R.sub.5 represents H or OH, and,
- n is an integer from 2 to 40,
- wherein at least one of the 2 to 40 units described above has R.sub.3 =H and R.sub.4 =OH, or R.sub.3 =OH and R.sub.4 =H, and R.sub.5 represents OH.
