Abstract
Use of herbicides of the auxin type for controlling broad-leaved weeds and grass weeds in transgenic crop plants which contain an ACC synthase antisense gene, ACC oxidase gene, ACC deaminase gene or combinations thereof is described.

A method for controlling broad-leaved weeds and grass weeds in transgenic crop plants which contain an ACC synthase antisense gene, ACC oxidase antisense gene, ACC deaminase gene or combinations thereof by treating the broad-leaved weeds, grass weeds and transgenic crop plants with herbicides of the auxin type.
