5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphtho[2,3-b]furan and indano[5,6-b]furan amine compounds

A compound selected from the group consisting of those of formula I:

• ##STR15## wherein:
• A-B represents CH.dbd.CH or CH.sub.2 -CH.sub.2 ;
• n represents zero or one;
• and
• Y represents:
• (C.sub.2 -C.sub.10)alkenyl in straight or branched chain;
• .omega.-(cycloalkyl)alkyl, .omega.-(methylcycloalkyl)alkyl, or .omega.,.omega.-(dicycloalkyl)alkyl in each of which each cycloalkyl contains 3 to 7 carbon atoms inclusive, and the alkyl moiety contains 1 to 4 carbon atoms inclusive in straight or branched chain;
• or
• a group of formula:
• ##STR16## wherein:
• p is an integer of 1 to 4 inclusive,
• R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, or methoxy,
• R.sub.2 represents halogen, hydroxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5)alkoxy, phenyl, --NH--CO--CH.sub.3, --NH--CO--CF.sub.3, or --NH--SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.3, and
• R.sub.3 represents halogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5)alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, cyano, phenyl, p-aminophenyl, or p-acetylphenyl;
• in racemic form or in the form of optical isomers;
• and addition salts thereof with pharmaceutically-acceptable acids.
