Abstract
There is provided a thermal transfer sheet comprising: a substrate film; and a hot-melt ink layer provided on one side of the substrate film, the hot-melt ink layer containing a bismuth oxide/borosilicate glass frit having a softening point of 400.degree. to 500.degree. C.
Claims3
A thermal transfer sheet comprising:
- a substrate film;
- and a hot-melt ink layer provided on one side of the substrate film, the hot-melt ink layer containing a bismuth oxide/borosilicate glass frit having a softening point of 400.degree. to 500.degree. C. and consisting essentially of 75 to 85% by weight of Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3, 12 to 18% by weight of B.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.1 to 5.0% by weight of SiO.sub.2, 0.05 to 3.0% by weight of CeO.sub.2, 0.1 to 3.0% of Li.sub.2 O and 0.05 to 3.0% by weight of Na.sub.2 O.
