Abstract
An anti-coccidial vaccine is provided which contains a recombinant peptide with novel epitopes. The recombinant peptide has an amino-terminal amino acid sequence that is unique among known Eimeria antigens. Recombinant vectors encoding the novel peptide antigen are deposited under ATCC Accession No. 68450, and ATCC Accession No. 68537.
Claims5
A substantially pure immunogenic peptide encoded by a DNA sequence present in a recombinant bacterial plasmid deposited under ATCC Accession No. 68537 wherein the sequence was inserted in pBR322 at its unique EcoRI site.
A vaccine composition comprising an immunogenic peptide encoded by a DNA sequence present in a recombinant bacterial plasmid deposited under ATCC Accession No. 68537, wherein the sequence was inserted in pBR322 at its unique EcoRI site.
