Abstract
A non-flexible endoscope comprises a slender insert section which is capable of being inserted from a leading end thereof into cavities of living bodies, an objective lens system for forming a primary image within the insert section, and a relay lens system for transmitting said primary image so as to form a secondary image, wherein the insert section satisfies the following condition: 0.3<D.sub.1 /D.sub.2 <0.7 wherein the reference symbol D.sub.1 represents a distance as measured from a first surface of the objective lens system to the primary image and the reference symbol D.sub.2 designates a distance as measure from the first surface of the objective lens system to the secondary image.
Claims16
A non-flexible endoscope comprising:
- an insert section for insertion from a leading end thereof into cavities of an object to be observed for observing interiors thereof, and a grip section which is to be connected to an end of said insert section located on a side opposite to said leading end and always kept outside the cavities during observation, wherein said insert section comprises an objective lens system having a first surface disposed at said leading end for forming a primary image, and a relay lens system for transmitting said primary image so as to form a secondary image in the vicinity of a connecting position between said insert section and said grip section or in said grip section, wherein said grip section comprises an eyepiece lens system for making said secondary image visible, and wherein said insert section satisfies the following condition (5):
- 0.3<D.sub.1 /D.sub.2 <0.7 (5)
- wherein the reference symbol D.sub.1 represents a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system to said primary image and the reference symbol D.sub.2 designates a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system to said secondary image.
A non-flexible endoscope comprising:
- an insert section for insertion from a leading end thereof into cavities of an object to be observed for observing interiors thereof, a grip section which is to be connected to an end of said insert section located on a side opposite to said leading end and always kept outside the cavities during observation, and a TV camera system which is to be attached to said grip section, wherein said insert section comprises an objective lens system having a first surface disposed at said leading end for forming a primary image, and a relay lens system for transmitting said primary image so as to form a secondary image in the vicinity of a connecting position between said insert section and said grip section, wherein said grip section comprises an eyepiece lens system for converting rays coming from said secondary image into a nearly parallel light bundle, and wherein said TV camera system comprises an imaging lens system for imaging the nearly parallel light bundle emerging from said eyepiece lens system and an image pickup device for picking up an image formed by said imaging lens system, and wherein said insert section satisfies the following condition (5):
- 0.3<D.sub.1 /D.sub.2 <0.7 (5)
- wherein the reference symbol D.sub.1 represents a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system and the reference symbol D.sub.2 designates a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system to said secondary image.
A non-flexible endoscope comprising:
- an insert section for insertion from a leading end thereof into cavities of an object to be observed for observing interiors thereof, wherein said insert section comprises an objective lens system having a first surface disposed at said leading end for forming a primary image, and a relay lens system which is disposed on the image side of said objective lens system for relaying said primary image so as to form a secondary image, and wherein said insert section satisfies the following condition (5):
- 0.3<D.sub.1 /D.sub.2 <0.7 (5)
- wherein the reference symbol D.sub.1 represents a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system to the primary image and the reference symbol D.sub.2 designates a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system to the secondary image.
A non-flexible endoscope comprising:
- an insert section for insertion from a leading end thereof into cavities of an object to be observed for observing interiors thereof, and a grip section which is to be connected to an end of said insert section located on a side opposite to said leading end, wherein said insert section comprises an objective lens system having a first surface disposed in said leading end for forming a primary image and a relay lens system for relaying said primary image in a single cycle or a plurality of cycles so as to form a final image in the vicinity of a connecting position of said insert section or in said grip section, and wherein said insert section satisfies the following condition (9):
- 0.3<D.sub.1 /D.sub.R <2.0 (9)
- wherein the reference symbol D.sub.1 represents a distance as measured from the first surface of said objective lens system to said primary image and the reference symbol D.sub.R designates a distance which is required for relaying said primary image in a single cycle by said relay lens system.
