Lens-fitted photographic film unit with a swingable shutter blade

In a lens-fitted photographic film unit having a shutter device, said shutter device being mounted swingably on a shutter base and having a shutter blade for opening and closing a shutter aperture and a kick-away arm for kicking away a portion of the shutter blade in response to a shutter release and for moving the shutter blade from a closed position to an open position;

• the improvement comprising:
• a coil tension spring for urging said shutter blade toward said closed position, said coil spring having first and second end portions adapted to be coupled respectively to a first projection on said shutter blade and to a second projection on said shutter base;
• a shutter cover mounted on said shutter base for covering said shutter blade and said coil spring;
• an arcuate first receiving portion for receiving a distal end of said first projection, said first receiving portion being formed in an inner surface of said shutter cover, and the length of said first receiving portion matching a path of said first projection;
• and
• a second receiving portion for receiving a distal end of said second projection, said second receiving portion being formed in said inner surface of said shutter cover.

In a lens-fitted photographic film unit having a shutter device, said shutter device being mounted swingably on a shutter base and having a shutter blade for opening and closing a shutter aperture and a kick-away arm for kicking away a portion of the shutter blade in response to a shutter release and for moving the shutter blade from a closed position to an open position, the improvement comprising:

• a coil tension spring urging said shutter blade toward said closed position, said coil spring having first and second end portions coupled respectively to a first projection on said shutter blade and to a second projection on said shutter base;
• a shutter cover mounted on said shutter base and covering said shutter blade and said coil tension spring;
• a first fence encircling a distal end of said first projection, said first fence being formed on an inner surface of said shutter cover, a length of said first fence matching a path of said first projection;
• and
• a second fence receiving a distal end of said second projection, said second fence being formed on said inner surface of said shutter cover.
