Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for regulating wrinkles and/or atrophy in mammalian skin comprising treating the skin with a safe and effective amount of salicylic acid and/or additional active component.

A method for regulating reversing wrinkles or atrophy in mammalian skin comprising treating the skin with a safe and effective amount of a composition comprising:
- (a) a safe and effective amount of salicylic acid,
- (b) a surfactant, and
- (c) a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier.
A method for regulating wrinkles or atrophy in mammalian skin and cleansing mammalian skin comprising treating the skin with a safe and effective amount of a composition comprising:
- (a) a safe and effective amount of salicylic acid,
- (b) a surfactant, and
- (c) a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier.
