Abstract
A method of use of a toner for developing electrostatic images is disclosed which comprises a coloring agent, a styrene homopolymer or copolymer with a vinyl monomer or monomers, and polypropylene in an amount between about 0.02 and 40 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the styrene homopolymer or copolymer.
Claims14
A method of electrophotography comprising developing an electrostatic latent image with a toner composition to form a toner image, transferring said toner image to a paper, then fixing said toner image by passing said paper between rollers, at least one of which is heated to a temperature of about 155.degree. C. to about 210.degree. C., said toner composition including a binder resin comprising a homopolymer of styrene or a copolymer of styrene with at least one vinyl comonomer, and about 1 to 10 parts by weight of low number average molecular weight polypropylene per 100 parts by weight of said homopolymer and/or said copolymer.
