A semiconductor device using an organic resin substrate, wherein an organic resin coating is provided on the surface of said organic resin substrate and a method for forming the same.

A semiconductor device comprising:
- an organic resin substrate;
- an organic resin coating provided on said substrate for preventing the formation of oligomers from said substrate;
- and
- a semiconductor provided on said organic resin coating.
